RRSP...
We covered the Letter Ii for our RRSP lesson this week. We continue to LOVE the curriculum. Carisa did a wonderful job and I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful resources she put together!
Smiley was really into coloring his memory verse did week...
Lots of color ;) and he particularly emphasized the hearts with red...
He continues to do really well on his writing skills! It really impresses me how much he's improved in just a few weeks.
He started out doing a really good job with the small letters as well...
...but then went a bit crazy ;)
We supplemented our Ii week with some of the Letter of the week activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler.
Dot painting the Letter Ii...
We made Ii's with our magnets...
He counted the number of inchworms and colored the corresponding number of boxes. He loved this activity. Especially the erasing ;)
An inchworm puzzle...
Learning Toys...
Using our magnets to make patterns...
Lots and lots of time spent playing with our cars (and lining them up)...
Since Smiley did so well with his writing skills, I got out our Kumon Easy Mazes book. We did quite a few mazes and Smiley loved it :)
Teeny Tiny Tot School
Our little lovebug really likes her leapfrog piano table.
as well as this leap frog toy that is a hand-me-down and has gone through 4 cousins already ;)
Her purse is a big favorite as well...
...already into lipstick!
Our leapfrog fridge magnets came out a lot too this week!
She isn't very interested in this vtech toy just yet...
She always loves her books though.
We taught her how to clap and she can't get enough of it.
I love her little grin :)
Oh my gosh! He looks so adorable working in that maze book. We have it too but K is not ready for it yet.
ReplyDeleteThe FP purse if a huge favorite around here. Especially that lipstick and the cash. LOL
That inchworm activity looks great, do you have a printable?
ReplyDeleteDrea- You can find it under the letter of the week link that I posted (by confessions of a homeschoolers) :) She has all kinds of fun activities that you can print. We love Erin's blog :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week. I love all the I activities, I will have to borrow a few to use with Emily :0)
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing that purse for a while. I may have to pick it up; definitely safer than letting her dig through mine ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! I took the summer off from Tot School and had no clue how much your baby girl has GROWN! My just-turned-one baby loved that v-tech toy at about 6 months old, and now he's ignoring it.
ReplyDeleteWe're loving the Kumon maze and tracing books. I love seeing my little guy concentrate to make the lines go where he wants. Isn't it fun to watch their skills growing? :)
Wow on the writing! My son still struggles with the whole concept of tracing the lines. He usually goes straight for the scribbling.
ReplyDeleteThe inch worm ideas are so cute!! Great week :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great week! I loved the inchworms, they are so cute. I think we are going to start Raising Rock Stars soon too, looks awesome!!
