Tot School~ Recap

~Smiley is currently 27 months old~

Tot School

I can't believe how long it has been since my last post! Things just have been so busy around here that I didn't get a chance to post. We were out of town or had guests the past several weekends. We still had tot school, but also had much fun school :) Here is my best attempt to catch up...

Learning Toys...

Smiley still likes to sort his buttons...

We colored a lot!
And oftentimes used to crayons ;)

We spent one weekend in San Diego visiting Smiley's cousins. Here the two of them are playing with the leapfrog fridge letters. I can't believe I never bought that toy. Smiley just had a blast with it. I am considering getting the one that holds three letter to help him spell three letter words...

We got a few toys from our friends (their two girls grew out of them). This matching puzzle is awesome and was a big hit with Smiley...

Playing with his "new" beads...

Another awesome new puzzle that we got from our friends. Oh, and this was after earth day, hence the face painting ;)

I let Smiley play with dry pasta again. It's been a long time and he LOVED it. I have to remember to do sensory stuff like this more often!!
Lacing the dry pasta...

Scatterpillar of course was part of the past few weeks as well...

A matching game that I got at a consignment sale...

Playing with his shape sorting game...

And a shape puzzle.

Spring...
We did several spring inspired activities this past month.
Finding corresponding egg halves. I wrote a number on one half and drew the corresponding number of dots on the other and Smiley had to match them. I then gave him jelly beans to fill the eggs with the correct number of beans...
A file folder game I got from Carisa's blog Tot Books & Packs

FUN school...
Like I mentioned, we had a lot going on the past several weekends.
Friends were visiting us and we did some fun activities with them, including a trip to Disneyland...

Smiley LOVED LOVED LOVED the teacups! Fortunately, daddy volunteered to ride with him ;)

We spent a weekend in San Diego with the cousins. The girls loved our little peanut :)
We saw a Padres game...

We spent a weekend in Phoenix... Smiley spent most of the time in the water ;)
